ELC Limburg is a well-equipped organization which is proactive in a broad area of activity. Since its establishment in 2000, the management team, supported by project management and secretariat, has worked to establish a solid position within the logistics world in Limburg – a position which is also recognized and appreciated by other logistics partners.

In short:

• It represents logistics in Limburg.
• It consults intensively with the business community, government bodies and other interested organizations.
• It organizes the annual Logistics Day Limburg in order to promote and publicize the Limburg logistics sector within a broader business and cross-border framework.
• It represents logistics in Limburg at important (international) trade fairs, congresses and media events/activities.
• It provides information and advice, participates in various forms of discussion and consultation, and acts as spokesperson and contact person for government bodies.
• It regularly distributes the (printed) newsletter, Logisch (Logical), and also uses the Internet (www.elc-limburg.nl) for communication purposes. This website functions as a portal for the logistics sector in Limburg and third parties.
• It is involved in ongoing activities on all levels aimed at initiating, implementing, financing or supporting projects to further strengthen the logistics sector in Limburg. These projects involve the further development of infrastructure, facilitating multimodal transport, the development of logistics services, and strengthening the position of transport firms.
